Table linens are both functional and for decoration in the dining room or kitchen. As functional pieces, tablecloths and runners keep tables from getting scratched, cut or stained from daily use. Runners also allow that extra comfort in knowing one's table is protected from kitchen decor such as candle holders, display bowls or center pieces. Runners can also be used to add a formal element on special occassions and holidays.

As decor, kitchen linens can bring together a variety of color schemes or themes. From earthy tones or floral design to cafe and Southwestern themes, any tablecloth or runner will set a background to the decor .

When choosing a table cloth remember the cloth should hang 8" to 12" over the edge of the table. Floor length cloths are only used for buffet style tables. Runners should run as long as the table cloth. Runners should be used as accents to any tabletop or linen and to the decor of the kitchen or dining area. Also remember center pieces should only be 12" in height if not smaller to allow for eye contact.
