Outdoor swing sets range in size, shape and costs. When selecting a swing set, your decision will largely be based on the amount of children and daily play you anticipate as well as your budget. Larger swing sets offer more area for children to play on, but are typically more expensive. However, less expensive sets may wear easily without offering the amount of room a larger set does.

Outdoor swing sets also come in a variety of colors and are made from various materials. Metal sets are often cheaper, but do not offer the same sustainability as a wood set. Wooden sets are treated for weather conditions and can also be balanced and “tuned” to the area. Metal sets, however, can sometimes move after regular use and become unbalanced.
