Oriental rugs are hand-made woven or knotted rugs from Asia (mostly china and Vietnam) extending west to Iran, east to Turkey and North to India. An oriental rug is typically identified by its origin. Some origin examples are: Persian, Central Asian, Kurdish, Chinese, Turkish, Tibetan and Anatolian.

Known for their durability and intricate design pattern, an oriental rug can bring together any office, waiting room, family room or foyer. When selecting a rug, remember to measure the space you plan on using for the rug. Sometimes you can purchase a cheaper rug of the same size, just to make sure it is a good location. Some individuals use their rugs in high traffic areas and others choose to use it as decoration.
