Knives

others.

•Boning knife - These knives are used to remove the bones of fish,
meat, and poultry.
•Carving knife - Carving knives are used for carving large cooked
meats such as hams, poultry, and roasts.
•Chef's knife - This is a general-utility knife used in food preparation.
Also called a French knife, it is an evolution of the butcher knife.
•Electric knife - This is an electrical device that provides a
sawing action when turned on. It consists of two serrated blades that
are clipped together.
•Table knife - These are knives that are part of a table setting,
usually either butter knives or steak knives.
