A furniture dresser should be closely inspected before being purchased. Although a new dresser is often attractive on the outside, the same is not always true as you begin to do a deeper inspection. For example, you should always check to see how the drawers work.
Most high quality drawers will include small rollers that allow the drawers to open and close smoothly. But there are some dressers that do not have this ability and instead simply line up on a groove cut into the dresser. These are dressers that you probably want to avoid because opening and closing them could be a pain.
